Partnering with Global Development Group

We recognise the importance of good governance and project management, as well as responsibility to donors, and as such BCC has partnered with Global Development Group, (ABN 57 102 400 993), an Australian Non Government Organisation [NGO] carrying out humanitarian projects with approved partners and providing aid to relieve poverty and provide long term solutions through the provision of quality aid and development projects.

Strategic partnerships are paramount to GDG as the organisation works directly with partners, like the Bethlehem Community Centre, in helping to build better lives for the world’s poorest people.

GDG was established in 2002, focusing on grassroots community development delivering specific activities relating to individual needs for children, families and communities living in extreme poverty.

Group Global Development Group takes responsibility for the project according to AusAID rules, providing a governance role and assisting in the areas of planning, monitoring, reviewing and evaluating to ensure that the projects are carried out to Australian requirements. Global Development Group is a member of the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) and a signatory to the ACFID Code of Conduct. The Code requires members to agree and adhere to high standards of governance, accountability and financial management.
